FRESNO COUNTY 4-H FAIR

The 4-H Fair is an educational, enjoyable, and rewarding experience for Fresno County 4-H members. In order for the 4-H Fair to be a success, volunteer assistance, (adult and youth) is important and necessary. Please consider volunteering to help.

Please call the 4-H office at 456-7285 if you would like to volunteer as a judge, clerk, or any of the following positions:
Junior Department Heads - A Jr. or Teen Leader with interest and expertise in a given area supervising and representing the department.
Resource Leaders in different project areas will be assisting and representing a department.
Still Exhibits: The Still Exhibits/Consumer Science portion includes a showmanship department. Pre-entry is not required. There will be a $1 per exhibit entry fee. All items will be due on Wednesday, May 7.
4-Hers will have the opportunity to do presentations as entries are delivered.
Judging will be done on May 8.

Livestock: Entries are due May 2, 2008. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Goat Achievement Test: The new Goat Achievement Test will be given before and during the goat show at the 4-H fair in May. The test has 3 levels: beginning, intermediate, and advanced. A study guide listing what you need to know for each level can be found here: Goat Study Guide
